How to Get to Magic Kingdom?
- The main parking lot for Magic Kingdom is located south of the Seven Seas Lagoon, adjacent to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort.
- To get from the parking lot to the kingdom, you can take Disney World's unique monorail train, with a station at its northern end or at the entrance to the Polynesian Village, on the northern end of the parking lot.
- You can also take a ferry that departs near the monorail station and sails briefly across the lagoon.
- You can also park in Epcot's large parking lot and take a short monorail ride to the Magic Kingdom.

What is the Magic Kingdom amusement park?
The Magic Kingdom park opened in 1971 near Disney's futuristic community project, which we know as Epcot. Until the community was converted in 1982 to Epcot park, the Magic Kingdom operated alone as an amusement park as part of the Disney resort complex in Kissimmee, Florida.

- The Magic Kingdom was based on the park in Disneyland, Anaheim, California, but it was larger than Disney's original park which opened in 1955

Everything to See and Do in Magic Kingdom
Main Street USA
The entrance to Magic Kingdom is from the northern edge of the Seven Seas Lagoon, where the monorail and ferry station are located. The first square upon entry is Flag Retreat, from which Main Street USA extends north, emulating, as its name suggests, the main street of what is called Anytown USA. In the square is the Disney Town Hall, which actually functions as a visitor center.
The street itself is based on the appearance of the central streets of American cities from the 1920s, with stylish facades of two or three-story houses. The houses are inspired by the animation of the movie Lady and the Tramp, one of Disney's well-known classics. On the ground floor of the buildings are shops, restaurants, memorabilia, and an urban fantasy atmosphere. At the end of the street is the wide Castle Hub square, and in the background is the iconic Cinderella Castle.
Cinderella Castle
The giant castle taken from the classic Cinderella movie towers at an impressive height of 55 meters (exactly the same height as the dome of Epcot). The square is visible from almost every corner throughout the large park, serving as a sort of compass for the park center. Surrounding the square is what can be defined as the urban areas of the amusement park.
Although the entire castle is a set, you can walk through it to the pond upon which it stands. The color of the castle is in shades of pink.
Liberty Square and The Hall of Presidents
Liberty Square is located to the left of Cinderella Castle for those arriving from Main Street USA. This is the park's central square, bustling with crowds of visitors passing through on their way to the various attractions of the “lands.” At the center of the square is the Liberty Bell, the bell that gathered the people of Philadelphia to Independence Hall on July 4, 1776, to hear the declaration of the United States' formation.
Similar to Main Street, the entire square is surrounded by houses in the style of 17th and 18th century New England towns. In the square, you'll find the Hall of Presidents attraction, featuring a showcase of all the U.S. Presidents giving speeches.
The square also houses the Liberty Square Riverboat, a journey aboard the Liberty Belle, inspired by Mark Twain's “Tom Sawyer.” The boat sails around Tom Sawyer Island and Fort Langhorn. Another attraction in the square is the Haunted Mansion, offering a mysterious journey inspired by Halloween in a grand American mansion.
Tomorrowland
The southeast section of the Magic Kingdom is a city of tomorrow. It is an almost utopian fantasy of a futuristic city (according to perceptions from 80 years ago).
